Im sitting here in Richmond Va with an Owner of a Keller Williams Real Estate Company. YES I know Im a REMAX FRIST agent and I bet your thinking why is she there ? I was invited by Owner/Agent to come to the MREA Business planning session for Keller Williams. It took me a few days to think about it and ponder. I thought first will my broker and team mates think I have defected ? Then after a few days I felt WHO CARES ! Im an independent contractor and now one will pay my bills but me. I decided YES I will go to the session. Im so excited to have been asked and its a great opportunity to learn from others. I dont consider it defecting I actaully think its pretty wise of me to check out the other people and companies. You just never know they maybe the Silver bullet training we have all been looking for.

I think yes CROSS company lines take every education chance you can. Learn and rub elbows with as many agents seeking knowledge as you can. That I think it is  THE SILVER BULLET we are all looking for.

I host training that is open to agents form any company.  I get agents from all over come to my office to tech training.  I figure if they are smart and seek knowledge and their brokerage isn't offering it, they can get it somewhere...why not from me?

Nice to Hear you Enjoyed your MREA Event.  I recently read a comment by a fellow KW family member where a RE/Max agent was invited to a cocktail party at your upcoming Family Reunion in New Orleans.  I agree with you, Education is Important no matter where you get it.  We are all in this business together.

Im very happy where I am right now. I know from experience you need to look out side your own bubble sometimes to see what is going on from different view points. ACTUALLY the classes start Monday and Tuesday.

Being aware of other opportunities can be a good thing, as long as you don't fall into the false belief that changing seats changes you.
