Athens Area Association of Realtors 60 Mile Walk for the Cure Team Raises $45,000

17 members of the Athens Area Association of Realtors completed the 60 Mile Walk for the Cure Oct. 24-26. Their efforts earned them a lot of blisters and raised over $45,000 for breast cancer research and community outreach.

Thanks to everyone that made a contribution to this worthy cause. If you did not get a chanch to contibute, Donations may still be made via the team fundraising webpage at http://www.the3day.org/goto/ AAAR. If you donate online, you can spread your donation out over four monthly payments.

Kudos to the team membes who not only made that 3 day 60 mile walk but spent all that time training and getting in shape to do this.

Larry - I am hoping to control my arthritis enough to walk next year

Sounds like a very long walk to me..... I would have to do some training to make it 20 miles a day. And buy some new shoes.
