Building Permits Surge in Gilbert

The Arizona Republic was reporting this morning that New Homes Sales in Gilbert was experiencing an unexpected increase in demand.

The town has issued close to 1,000 permits so far this year. That is more than double of city projections.

More than 400 permits were issued in June and July alone and was attributed to the $8,000 tax credit for first time homebuyers. Home builders are hoping that the momentum is sustainable.

I read this also and paused to appreciate this positive news. I've noticed an increase in new construction all around us in Gilbert. We'll take every bit of good news we can get. Good Luck!
