It's RESTAURANT WEEK on Long Island New York!  by Feng Shui Long Island Consultant

Finally, Restaurant Week has come to Long Island NY.  I love Restaurant week here as it allows me to go back to some of my Favorite Restaurants across Long Island and try some new ones I haven't been to yet!

One of my favorite things about being a Feng Shui Consultant on Long Island NY is that I get to travel all over lovely Long Island.  I often stop and eat in Local Restaurants after a Feng Shui Consultation.

You'll find price fix dinners at some wonderful places.  I've got my favorites and a few I haven't tried yet that I'm looking forward to.  These are my favorites:

Babylon Carriage House   Babylon Long Island is a wonderful town and this place has Charm.

Grasso's Cold Spring Harbor NY   Grasso's is a delight...so is Cold Spring Harbor!

Butterfields Restaurant  Hauppauge  NY  I haven't tried Butterfields yet....

Jonathan's Ristorante  Huntington  NY  An Institution on Huntington, my favorite Long Island Town

Mamma Lombardi's   Holbrook NY  Weddings and catering parties and one GOOD Restaurant!

P.J. Lobster House  Port Jefferson  NY  I'm often in Port Jefferson, it's so lovely.  Aside from Danford's (which is not on the list), this is one of my favorite places to eat.

The Country House   Stony Brook NY  I heard a rumor this place is haunted...I just found great food near a wonderful village.

The Carltun  East Meadow Long Island  Located right in Salisbury  Eisenhower Park.

City Café  Garden City Long Island NY  Really interesting dishes in this place, the menu changes.

Hemingway's American Bar and Grill   Wantagh NY   Right on Wantagh Avenue.  I've been going to this place as long as I can remember and the food is consistently good!

Fisherman's Catch Restaurant   Point Lookout NY  This is right on the water.  I haven't tried it yet, it's another place I would love to try!

Call ahead for seating and dates that may be blocked off.  Just don't miss Restaurant Week on Lovely Long Island NY.

This sounds like so much fun!   Detroit will have "Taste Fests" but not anything like this.  I would love it!

Mmmmmmm....Carole, if there was ever a time that I'd love to visit Long Island for the first time, I really hope I can time it to come during Restaurant Week! :)

Somehow, i'm a little hungry about right now!  It's good for business the way you highlight their restaurants... hope they appreciate you!

Hi Carole,

I think I liked the Port Jefferson Lobster House menu the best.  It seemed to be reasonable for the NYC area.  I notice they didn't have any LOBSTER BENEDICT (that looked so good from your Cape Cod trip!!!!).

I just think it would be so interesting to have all these options for eating and entertainment so near to where you live.

Hannah, I was just hearing about your Philly Cheese-Steaks and how wonderful they are!  I'm heading to a cart when I come to Philidelphia :)

Fred, Thank you!  I love restaurant week in both New York City and Long Island and I'll surely give you the BEST restaurants out here anytime you come.

Joseph, This is a good time to come.  Some of these restaurants are very expensive and it's a wonderful time to dine out on Long Island with the Price fixed menus they offer.

Debbie, Thank you, I also love Lobster!  Thank goodness I'm not allergic to shell fish :)

Steve, That's what I'm afraid of but I'll take my chances.  These are some of my favorite restaurants and I'm so surprised some others are not on the list.

Kris, You should visit NYC when they have Restaurant Week!  It's always nice to visit the City AND you get an added benefit of wonderful food for one set price.

Leesa, I can't...I only have one week!  Some serious decisions have to be made and fast!

Craig, I had a feeling you might have eaten at a few of this from your "Long Island Living" days :)  You've got to go to Jonathan's and Zagat agrees with me!  Huntington is my favorite LI town, it's so much fun!

Leileni,  This is a good time to visit Long Island for the food...but Spring here is just beautiful when everything starts to bloom again.  That's really the BEST time to come out for a visit.

Diane, I don't even think they know!  I have my own favorites and was thrilled to see many of them on the list.  I'm heading to Hemmingway's first, I just love that place!

Bruce, I will never forget the Lobster Benedict--EVER!  I have never had it anywhere before and it was incredible.  A reason in itself to visit Provincetown :)

Carole, you so know Long Island and now highlights of great restaurants. Any of us Rainers that know you and show up nearby should buy you lunch or dinner at one of these fine establishments. They all sound great to me.

Carole, they almost named a dish after you at the Fisherman's Catch Restaurant.  They had a "Sea Scallops Provencale" that they offered.

The Babylon Carriage House really looked quite elegant.  I loved the stone work in the building.  If we ever get to NY these look like great places to eat on Long Island.  Thanks!

Carole, the Fisherman's Catch is definitely a place I'd like to go.  Maybe we can go together some day..... for some crabcakes and mussels marinara .... or maybe some crispy calamari and some grilled swordfish.... (my mouth is watering and it's only 10 a.m.).

Carole, can't say I ever had the pleasure to eat at any of these when I lived in New York.  My loss, for sure, it seems like.  I hope you get to enjoy them often. =)

Carole,

It looks like you have an abundance of fine restaurants there.....eating a fine meal at a restaurant that has peaceful and classy ambiance is one of the great pleasures in life and I always love to discover new places.

Hi Carole,

Someday I am going to come for restaurant week!! We have many fine restaurants here, but restaurants always seem better some place other than home! Desserts/food are my weakness!

We have three restaurant weeks here, one for San Diego as a whole, and then a Fall and Spring week in the Hillcrest area, which is full of great dining experiences. In fact, Russel and I took Robin Rogers from San Antonio there tonight for some margaritas and Mexican food since the NAR Conventioneers have been in town this weekend.
