Phillies Phever was in evidence throughout the city when I was in Philadelphia last week for a real estate seminar.  This display of hometown pride on the historic Union League (www.unionleague.org) building especially caught my eye, as my father-in-law was a member for decades before his death last June.  He was also a huge Phillies fan.

Monday  night's game will be an exciting event for Phillies and Yankees fans everywhere.  I am an Angels fan at heart, but find myself rooting for the Phillies by default.  At least this is a better fever to catch than H1N1!
