Every Fall I dread turning the clocks back!  I hate losing day light hours and coming home after work to more and more darkness. To make your home lighter and brighter this season, consider my design ideas as featured in Better Home's and Garden's DIY Magazine. Do you have any tips for making your home lighter and brighter that you want to share?

Great tips Kate. I just lightened my office by painting alternating light 18" horizonal stripes around the room (an idea I saw on HGTV BTW).  It makes the room feel so much brighter and I really enjoy being in it more.
