The ActiveRain RainCamp Tour is Official! Our first ever RainCamp in Seattle was sold out in just two weeks. Now there's a demand by many of our members and non members to bring RainCamp to cities all across the Country. As you can imagine, this is a huge undertaking for our staff and team. There are so many details that go into setting up this event, but our members and guests are not only worth it, they deserve it.
The "Rainergy" and "Buzz" that comes from a RainCamp is like no other event I've ever experienced. You have to witness it for yourself to understand and grasp the full value and impact it will have on you, your Business, your relationships in your community, and the industry. Here's what a few of the folks from RainCamp Seattle had to say:
RainCamp is coming to San Francisco on December 2nd, 2009 for a full day packed with great content, presentations, and some of the most useful and applicable ideas and processes that you can implement immediately into your Social Media, Networking, and Blogging Business Strategy and Plan. The Location and Venue we've selected is once again a "Top Notch" off the hook spot.
MarketLeader will be our official Platinum Sponsor for the next 6 RainCamps on the tour schedule.

Hi Maggie - we definitely welcome the local support and expertise. We also put together some pretty powerful speaker panels, including special guests, etc. It's always nice to have the "Local" eyes and ears involved when cordinating RainCamps out of our familiar areas.
Definitely add our notifications to your list so you'll know when we're coming to Miami. Thanks. :-)
Don't forget about the Midwest either! However, a RainCamp somewhere warm may be just the excuse I need to escape our cold Fargo winters. On second thought...
Brad - this is so exciting ... I am looking forward to the event! Thanks to all who work on putting these great events together so that we can all grow, learn and support each other together.
Hi Paula - Bring your laptop with wireless, or (pen and paper), some warm clothes and a camera. Get there early for a table seat and coffee. Oh, and don't forget your cell phone. Other than that, just show up with an empty brain, an open mind, and your eyes and ears clear. :-))) For everything else, there's MasterCard I mean Google. :-))
Kathleen - we're just as excited. The buzz from RainCamp Seattle still hasn't warn off, hope San Francisco is ready for us??? lol~
As an ActiveRain Confirmed Loan Officer in Burlingame, just south of San Francisco, I am ecstatic! I have been helping real estate agents with their blogging efforts using ActiveRain as the platform. I have invited all of the agents I know, and have informed sales reps at the local title companies about RainCamp. I am looking forward to a great turn-out from real estate agents from San Mateo County!
Hi, Brad
Trying to click to register, ain't going anywhere. Links not live?
Anyway, I want to be there..... can I just make the reservation through you? Pretty please?
Hi Pacita - not sure what happened to that link, I'll fix it. In the meantime you can use the registration at the bottom of the post (just select ticket quantity and then click the checkout button) or you can register on the sidebar of my Blog. Just click on the Red "Register Now" button. I just tested both and they are both working.
Sounds like the next stop after San Francisco should be East Coast (preferably DC). I am really looking forward to it... whenever it makes it over to the area!
You don't need to be a social butterfly to gain a great deal from Rain Camp. With the exception of Ben Kinney, I didn't talk to a single person I didn't already know at Rain Camp Seattle. Still walked away with a ton of info that was relevant to my business. High D's will gain much from Rain Camp, put it on your calendar.
Brad--I'm so excited--signed in as an Early Bird--looking forward to the day--learning lots and meeting other AR's. Thanks for making San Francisco your second Rain Camp.
This is so exciting!! I'm really REALLY looking forward to seeing you all in San Francisco!!
There's not too many of the early adopter tickets left, I can't believe how fast they went.. this announcement is hardly 24 hrs. old. WOW!!
Thanks guys for supporting RainCamp and for supporting your business. As Scott Leaf said in the video, "you will get way more than your money's worth out of your day at RainCamp!" This I can promise you. ONLY 27 days, and I can't wait!! :-))
I just found this really cool link that will let you email this to anyone you'd like, I am sending it to others in the SF Bay Area that might not know RainCamp is coming to the City.
Well it was definitely an event to remember - on so many levels - although I have to say meeting other A/R members was at the very top of the list! :-)
I'm in. Now if we can just keep the Bay Bridge open on that day - we are set to go. On 2nd thought - it would be a good reason to enjoy a night in the City.
Cathy - San Francisco will be holding that Bridge open for this Special Occasion, I'll call the Mayor to confirm! lol~ I'm looking forward and excited to see you there. I'm planning out a little "secret surprise" for our guests that day, I hope I can pull it off... :-)
I just posted this on another blog and thought it was a good idea. What do you think?
AR needs like a little, "learned something new icon" that we can click, kind of like stumbleUpon, and the more you get, the more I will want to read those stories! Lets face it, I could read all day on AR!
Man, I was feeling blue - we have gotten so much rain here in New Jersey and I see your post and think:
"All that talk of opportunities, TV breaks and movies Rang true, sure rang true.
Seems it never rain in Southern California Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before It never rains in California But girl, don't they warn ya It pours man it pours. Out of work, I'm out of my head Out of self respect I'm out of bread I'm under loved I'm under fed"
And, then I see it has a price tag. Oh, boy. I can't afford that in NJ. Did ya hear re sales are down?
Brad - thanks for having me in your video... I was just viewing it and man... I got pumped again... all from watching your video... its like AR JUICE! I'm going to watch it every morning to remind me of how awesome camp was and to hold me accountable to what I learned from you guys. GREAT WORK!
Fellow AR's - go to this... it will teach you how to make $$$.
So many Cali Realtors, we need to see you in Southern California. San Diego is great and you will enjoy it as well. Winter is good, weather will more than likely still be sunny. Please come here.
I am so excited to see this event come to San Francisco!!! I'm signed up and ready to go!!! Already put it on facebook. Can't wait to see everybody and to learn...thanks again for having it here!!!
Whoah! Those 50 tickets went fast, I can't believe they are gone already. Thanks for the email letting me know.
I am going to ask the gang if we can extend the early adopter tickets another day or two. I don't think anyone anticipated them being gone in just the first 36 hours. Let me see if I can get it extended at least through the weekend. I can't make any promises, but I will certainly try.
Thanks you guys for helping to already make the SF RainCamp a success!! You all totally rock!! :-)
Cool - we are extending the early adopter tickets from 50 to 100 total. The update and changes have already been made to the eventbrite calendar, so for those of you who wanted that early rain pricing, we made it happen for ya. Thanks again for such a great response and for all your support, it will be an awesome event, I promise. :-))
You should come to Denver you would sell out here. If you schedule soon enough you can maybe do it on a Friday or Monday and get some of the best skiing in the world on a long weekend.
Hope to see Phoenix on the itinerary for "Rain Camp Tour 2010". When it's raining and snowing everywhere else in the country, it's a beautiful sunny day here. I'll stay tuned as I'm sure these will just keep getting better.
thanks for the info but I can't make but I'm glad to see the East Coast is on the list. Maybe I'll be there for the East Coast version maybe Foxwoods Casino (CT) or Atlantic City.
Hi Fran - For you, anything. I can try to tape some portions, but it's a full packed day. The most my flip video will hold is an hour. I'm not too sure how many would even watch a video that long. What's worse, I wouldn't know what to NOT record, the entire event is a Blast!! Just come Fran, then you can video what you want to take home and remember and keep what's most important to you.
The video I put in this post took me a couple days to edit and put together, and it's under 2 minutes. Could you imagine what it would take to do an entire day at raincamp? lol~ Seriously, Just Get your ticket, and we'll see you there.... and don't forget your camera.
Brad everyone is suggesting you take the Rain Camp to the east coast. I wonder if they are thinking east coast as being Newfoundland. Can't go more east that that in North America. ;) Check it out. Forgive me this one. Cape Spear Newfoundland-The Most Easterly Point In North America.
We are really looking forward to coming to the East Coast too. Not sure we'll make it to Newfoundland, but we'll be close enough for a cigar! lol~ Seriously, we look forward to coming to each of the areas mentioned, and I'm sure we'll be adding more shortly...
WIN RAINCAMP TICKETS!!
If anyone wants a couple free tickets to RainCamp, come see me at NAR
I'll be in the Market Leader booth this coming weekend having a drawing. Just come by and say hi, drop off your card and you could win a couple RainCamp tickets and some other pretty cool stuff. I'll be in the booth at NAR on Saturday and Sunday! Come see me. WooHoo! :-))
Hi Brad. I guess I will have to wait til you come to Miami. It doesn't look like you are putting Tampa on the list LOL This is fantastic though and those who can attend the one in San Francisco are very fortunate. ~ Lana
I'm ready to sign up for the event in Atlanta, I believe that's as close as you are coming to me. Let me know when and I will work my scedule around it.
Brad - no doubt the turnout will be terrific. We are waiting for a SoCal version...as folks in other parts of the country are waiting. I won't be able to be there but can at least comfort myself with RE Bar Camp San Diego this Thursday! Best wishes for much success. I know some folks who are looking forward to ARRC.
I would like to sign up as a "volunteer" to help you guys out if and when you come to Northern Virginia or, Washington DC. I can assist with organizing, planning, scheduling, sending out email to lists, mailings, Etc.
Hi Brad - I'll be there. I'm a little wider than in my photo (that's about 4 years old). : ) I bet I won't even tend to my facebook farms while you all are talking. Thanks for coming to my favorite city! I was thinking about spending the night in San Fran so I wouldn't have to get up so early... but if I'm there I won't sleep until very late so it makes no sense! I'll probably BART over.
Atlanta is on the list, Keith - we will definitely let you know and can always use the support and help from our local members. Thanks. :-)
Jeff - I'll be at NAR, I'm gonna try to make it to BarCamp if I can. Are you going to NAR convention as well? LMK... I think Orange County is on the list for RainCamp, hope you'd make it to that too.
Chris - looking forward to seeing you there. I'd Bart over too, but we have a special surprise for our RainCampSF guests, so I'm going to need to drive for reasons I can let out publically just yet. It's going to be an Awesome, and I do mean an awesome event. :-)))))
All signed up and making reservations next. So excited to be able to come. Our event up here for the Virtual REBarCamp has rather fizzeled. Maybe after I blog my heart out about RainCamp, people in Redding will have a better idea of the value. No need for you to consider coming....but how cool is it that I'm coming that way! Sooooo excited! Can't wait!
Brad, I cannot wait and so happy that RainCamp is heading to SF. I have purchased my ticket and look forward in attending. This is my very first camp with the Rain.

Well now that the "Tour" is official, when can we expect to see one here in the Raleigh area?
