Unbelievable price!!  Just out of curiosity, what is "Frieze" carpet??  I've never heard of it!

Thanks Sandi!

Frieze carpet is the "in" carpet for the past couple of years, at least in my area. It's a cut berber.  So, instead of having the tight loops that snag whenever anything touches them, you have a nice, loose feeling under your feet.  It's also known as the new shag.  Shag was very long, and this stuff is very short, but same concept.  It's great because as you walk one direction, the carpet goes that direction, but when you walk the other direction, it goes back the other direction... great for high-traffic areas so you don't get that matted down look as it's always fluffy, if that's the right word.  If you google it, you'll see lots of examples.

Thanks for the great explanation...  I guess around here we just refer to it as cut Berber.  We're now seeing a lot more tile and various woods rather than carpet.  Anyway, best wishes on your listing :)

Thanks Tom.  The Kitchen has new laminate flooring and new appliances and fresh paint.  Mrs. Seller really liked the wood-look of the counters so she felt no need to replace them, but everything else in the kitchen has been updated.  It even has one of those soap dispensers on the sink.  You've gotta have a buyer in Garland in this price range for me!!!??

This blog is to help educate Buyers and Sellers and even other Realtors across the country.  Each market is different and the way Real Estate is done is different.  Dallas Real Estate is completely different than California and Florida and everywhere else in between.  Some times there will be other things besides real estate as I like to rant and rave as much as the next!!  Come back often!
