Even with the time change its dark when we leave for school....Photo taken at 6:15 am

Leaving my Driveway while the rest of the world is asleep.

Jumping on the highway, not another sole around...Sun coming up on another day.

Amy...This is captured time with my teen son, he has no one to talk to or text at this time of the day...so dad gets the update on today's plans. No one loves getting up early, But I do Cherish this time, with my Boy who will be driving soon.

Wow-love those orange/pink tones through the matted clouds.  Thanks for posting this for us, Steve.

Good Morning Steve!!

Beautiful place you live!  Charlotte is boring in comparison...

Treasure those times with your son. They are gone and living their own lives way too soon for me!!

Steve,

My boy is almost 5 years old, but I fear that I will wake up tomorrow and he'll be heading off to college...the time certainly goes by quickly.  Your photos are even more beautiful knowing how special that time is for you with your son.

Beautiful skies out there today Steve!  6:15 is when I'm sneaking in my workout before getting my son on the bus.  :)

Sincerely,

I need to take some pictures here in the morning - the sunrise is right out our master bedroom and it is so glorious every morning!  I love these pictures - you are so lucky!

Thanks All...It is hard to get out of bed by 5:30 am to get this child fed and off to school, but it is one of my favorite times of the day...Couple of guys in the car talking about life.

I wanted to comment just on how beautiful those pink clouds were, but after reading the comments what really touches me is the story behind the pictures. Time with your boy before he starts driving...it is very valuable time!  You will never get this opportunity again...continue to enjoy it for as long as you can!

Lovely sunrise.  Wish it occurred earlier in the morning though.  I kinda like to walk out into sunlight instead of the dark.

Hi Steve.  Your first photo is very nostalgic for me as it reminds me of where I used to live.
