Those are perfect Mario Bros. mushrooms! I have never seen a mushroom like that...Very cool! Thanks for sharing!

Way cool! I love how the colors all work together as though it was staged. Nature is our own little stager I guess.

Hello Kay, I never saw these growing up in this neighborhood as well. When researching this, Wikipedia says this mushroom has become quite Cosmopolitan, and is even in South America now! Thanks. John

Hi John & Kathryn! Awesome looking mushrooms among the fall leaves. I would agree with you and everyone else -- I'm not sure about them, I wouldn't dare eat them!! Still, they are beautiful.
