Small park in the Kehalani Mauka community nestled on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains.  Terraced terrain gives many of the homes unobstructed views of the city below with ocean beyond.

Kehalani is on the windward side meaning it almost always has a cooling breeze.

Hi Teral & Toula.  As I travel to Maui regularly, I rent a room in a home in this community.  It is indeed awesome and I may buy here in the future.  It gives a "king of the mountain" feel as one looks down over the city, especially at night.

Unfortunately I only live there half time; the other half I live where I can only look at my neighbor's house.

Hi Judy.  I just arrived back on Maui today and it's good to be here.  You have a little further to go that I do, my trip is only 200 miles.  Come visit anyway!

Aloha from Hawaii. Since making the move from an area where Winter meant it was cold and snowy to one where it means rains sometimes last 15 minutes instead of 5, I've made other changes as well including moving from an engineering management position to a real estate professional. I enjoy change and both have been good. I use my blog to discuss most anything relevant to the Hawaii real estate market and my new profession including tips, local information, Hawaiian lifestyle, and embracing change.
