The National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program

Would you like to join others in the community who are helping to fight the war on terrorism? You can do so by fostering a TSA puppy. Potential puppy foster homes must be in the San Antonio and Austin communities and have

a secure fenced yard
a vehicle in which the pup can be transported
no more than 2 other dogs in the home
the patience to raise a pup from 10 weeks to 12 months of age

Hey! there's still time for those abandoned poodles I found!

Hi Greg, I read your post late last night. I am so glad the adorable little poodles found good homes! I'm not sure the poodles would be a good fit for detecting explosives but I am certain my beagle, Snoopy, would be great at it. He is a sniffing machine! His only drawback is that he can be a little stubborn so maybe not. Have a wonderful day, Greg! :o)

What a great idea. I have cats though, so can't be sponsoring puppies. The puppies would be in danger :o)!

That pup is a sweetie! One of my listing clients operates a dog rescue group and she has a different dog in her care every time I go over there.

Oh my goodness! What a cutie:-) Somehow, that pup looks like a "paws to the ground" type of dog ready to perform duty in an admirable program.

Hi Shirley, What a great cause, Even if I lived in the area, I'm afraid I would get too attached - it takes very special and wonderful people to devote themselves to being a foster parent.

We already have a black lab but will pass on this info. to a few people that may have an interest. I know Ceil's sister just adopted a nice little dog and her brother adopted a cat.
