164,000 dollar question

Did the activerain folks stop counting or is the 164,000 members number...right on the money.

A round number ending with an even thousand seems like some-kind of a sign.

Have We all answered our $164,000 question today? Apparently Activerain has Answered it...boy this number has grown since I started blogging. I'm not an early member, a founder or even by many of the standards set here a very good blogger. But I have learned so much about the various technologies, and real estate marketing opportunities...it is astounding!

I have been practicing real estate for 26 years and was a Marketing Major in College...but in my few short years here I have learned more about Real Estate, branding, and marketing our specific product than I had in my prior career. And!, I've had a stellar career, so what does that tell you?

Keep up the Good Work...Brad, Bob, Jeremy, Clair...and all of the Activerain staff, and keep impressing us with your platform improvements. I expect the numbers will double again in half the time it took to double from the time of my first post nearly two years ago.

It was probably stopped on purpose. There is no way it could stop at such a rounded number, though 165k would have been a better number to stop on.

Donna...I like the number in any case, and the number has more than doubled Sine I began posting Blogs here. Kudos the Guys and Gals at A/R H.Q.

I haven't been on this site long but in my brief exposure the membership has continued to climb. I find some of the information in the posts to be quite valuable, especially in some of the technical blog-site and data preparation areas. Look, I even enjoy looking at some of the recipes. Ditto what you said about the staff Steve. I've been here just over a year and while my real estate career and marketing degree are a few years short of yours (just 20 years old), I too have found much more knowledge on these pages than in all those other years of textbooks, professors and experience combined.

Possibly the end of Daylight Savings Time is the culprit.

Debbie...there is so much available information and advice I don't have enough time in the day to practice real estate and remain updated on the subject, juggling can be tough but I enjoy my time here whenever I have a few minutes. Thanks for the comment and have a great day yourself.

Steve - I have been out sick for the last couple of days , no H1N1 though, but when I saw you post this on FB today I briefly logged into AR and that number was still standing.

With RE/MAX's new push for Social Netwroking we may see a serge of NEW members as Dave tours the country

This just makes me wonder what the AR Gods have up their sleeve.

My husband tells me that it rolled over to 164,000 around 3:00 this morning. Maybe they put a cap on the number of members -- LOL.

OK Message received,The number was 130 members higher today...all is right with the world
