A friend of mine was telling me how hard it was when her son, a junior in high school, left on Halloween night in his new pick-up to go to a party dressed as Rambo!  Yikes....I would have been nervous.

I asked her what were her parting words and she said "Son, make good choices."  Wow...great parenting skills.

This same thought applies to our business.  We all have choices: from picking the company we work for, to deciding how to conduct ourselves ethically and the choice is ours!

When you think about, almost everything in life comes down to choices. One of my favorite sayings is: if you don't like your life, make better choices". I have 2 sons, 20 and 23, so I Do sympathize.

Thanks for sharing this with us Dorie!

I think you are 100% right on this. Your business is your baby and you have to contineously stay on top of it.

Virginia,

Choices in life affect not only us but others around us. It's always good to ponder this in our decision making process!

Hi Dorie, so true - Life is all about making good choices ( or not and suffering the consequences)  I'm still waiting for my opportunity to choose paper or plastic, I can't wait to use that line. LOL!
