Time is fun, when you are eating flies ~ or so the adage goes. If you listen to the Time is funtalking heads on the tube, one would think we're on the eve of destruction. No wonder they have such a somber look when reporting. Maybe they need to have fun and eat a fly.

Folks seem to be in such a hurry nowadays. Rushing to get here. Gotta get the kids off to shool. Gotta get these reports out. Gotta meet this deadline. Gotta, gotta, gotta. Maybe you need to slow down. Have fun. Eat a fly.

Far too many folks are stuck in dead-end jobs that they do not like. Marking time. Punch in, punch out. Time drones on when you hate what you are doing. Maybe you need to move on. Have fun. Eat a fly.

So you kiss a few toads! Big deal. Warts heal. What do you think that lip-balm is for?Kissing a toad Sadly, there is no balm for the tired, weary, defeated soul. Except! Blap! Flick out that tongue. Have fun. Eat a fly.

Time is fun, when you are following your passions. Passion and the generated enthusiasm is contagious. Folks around you feel it, they embrace it. Have fun. Eat a fly.

I have never eaten a fly, you say. Have you ever tried them? Once you get past the "crunch" they're not as bad as you think. C'mon now. Have fun. Eat a fly ☺☺☺

We were much happier and had less stress in our lives when we didn't have 24/7 news reporting.  We lived life slower.

Michael, I can't agree with you more.  One of the things I preach on a regular basis is taking time for yourself and your family and being sure you balance that wheel of life.

Mike, I always have fun regardless of what I do. So like you today is a flying day for me despite the fact that I'll be working most of the day. Have a great one and thanks for the smiling crunch.

Michael,

Have fun. Kiss a frog. I love this idea! And kissing a few toads can't that bad for us. We could all use a reminder to get off that hamster wheel. Really cute post, thanks.

Great metaphor Michael!

My theory is that life's too short not to have fun, and if it's not fun, it's not worth it.

We all know how and when to be serious. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun in the process and still get the job done right.

Michael-

As a Harley rider I have eaten an unpleasant number of small winged critters.

Enjoy your day.

Hi Michael!  CUTE post!  I've never eaten a fly, purposefully at least but, do enjoy life--it's FAR too short not to!  Agreed--follow your passions and you WILL enjoy the journey.
