The Power of Active Rain and SEO

A few days ago I wrote a post called SEO for Your Photo Blogs. It is good to remember that Active Rain in itself is a powerful tool in helping to boost your SEO.

Case in point - Yesterday I posted about a photo I took, and noted the equipment I used, in particular, a Hoya Digital Pro 3X Close up lens. This morning, I Googled the lens, because I couldn't remember how much I paid for it, and that annoyed me :) To my surprise, THIS is what I found on the 1st page of my Google search:

Yes, SEO and Active Rain are a good thing. A lot of times its indexed by Google within hours.

I've had the same great success. Prior to Active Rain I searched home staging key words and couldn't find myself after searching 20 pages. Now I'm in the top 3 of page one for most key words. It's awesome!

I have read a few posts where AR folks talk about blogging as part of their daily schedule, because it is in fact time spent marketing...you are living proof! =o)

Hi Debi - I experience the same thing with my keywords. It's so awesome what AR does for us!

Hi Debi, Last year I wrote a post about NAR coming to San Diego. If you google NAR 2009 , I was surprised it was still on page one. ActiveRain helps a lot of us be found on the internet if we use good tags that people search.
