Some interesting statistics on exercise.

Walking can add minutes to your life. That enables you at

85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $7,000 a month.

My grandfather started walking when he was 60; he is now 97 years old,

and we have no idea where the hell he is. Personally, I like long walks

especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

I joined a health club. Cost me 600 bucks.

I haven't lost a pound; apparently you have to

actually go there. Every time I hear the word

exercise, I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

Every time I start thinking too much about

how I look, I just find a "Happy Hour",

and by the time I leave,

I look just fine.

The doctor limited me to 1 cigar a day, do you know where I can get a 2 foot cigar?

LOL  I washed my mouth out with chocolate last night... I can probably hold off today.  After 4 or 5 km on the treadmill, I'll be ready to wash it out again.  (At least it's dark ... it could be worse.)

Ty,

Doctors are always saying that stuff. To hell with him.

Sylvie,

We used to have a treadmill too; made a good coat rack.

I don't go out of my way to exercise, it just seems to happen despite myself. Good thing too, since I love chocolate.

Terry,

That is too funny. I guess we should all save some more money for retirement if we exercise!

Carra,

I get my exercise naturally by keeping busy.
