I heard a report that HOME EQUITY has gone up 1.2% in October? I like that report better! ha!

Anyway, thanks for adding me as an associate. I have done the same and if I ever need a lender in your area, I'll know where to find a good one!

Ruth - Some markets have seen an increase in home values while other areas have either remained flat or continue to decline. We're not out of the woods yet, but it does appears that mnay areas are near or have already hit bottom and are at least stabilizing.

Pat - Thanks for the comments. The extension of the homebuyer tax credit hopefully will cause some current homeowners to consider selling and buying. However, I'm afraid the short time frame (where they must be under contract by April 30, 2010) might not be enough as the prime home selling / buying season is during the spring and summer months. All we can do is hope for the best,
