A renter tracked me down through AR!!!

I couldn't believe this! I had a rental property that I placed on a website on Monday night. By Tuesday at noon I had about a dozen emails in response to the ad. But you can imagine my surprise when I noticed an email with the "Sent via Active Rain" return address notification and subject was my rental property. Of course I had not posted my rental on AR, so it obviously peaked my curiosity.

I immediately responsded to her telling her the property had already been rented, but inquired as to how in the world she found me on Active Rain. Here was her response:

"Actually I don't know what Active Rain is. Is that your website? Because I saw your name at the bottom of the rentals.comad and I googled it and it pulled it up. Hope that was ok."

***eyebrows raised*** Ok? I'd say!!!

Great example of what Active Rain can do for us. Keep blogging and I am sure you will see more of this.

Maybe not Google-Juice, but it sounds like "mystery juice" to me.

I recently had a friend track me down and email me via active rain. I am sure she would have found me otherwise but active rain was at the top of the google search.

Hey .. you never know where a lead will come from -- keep blogging.

Blogging works, I have received several large commercial contracts - they googled and found me thru an AR blog.

Fascinating how people will find you sometimes. Not everyone would go through this exercise.

Ruth, looks like the Google Juice you're getting from ActiveRain is starting to pay off.

Ralph - I'll take "mystery" juice, any day of the week! Hopefully Lupe is right - with AR help we will have a VERY productive winter!

(Ed - glad to hear you're even gettting commericial contracts through AR blogs! Wow!)

Thoedora & Robert... I'm thinking more and more are starting to go through this exercise (and they say timing is everything, so I'm just glad I'm in on the front end of the movement!!) And appreciate the boost that AR is giving me.

Charles and Michael and Bob/Caroline- I WILL continue to blog... mostly because I love it, but I have to admit I love the resulting surprise connections, too.
