The Clydesdales are Coming to Merrimack, New Hampshire

The world famous Budweiser Clydesdale Hitch is coming to Merrimack, New Hampshire on November 7th!

Be sure to stop by Anheuser Busch http://www.budweisertours.com/to take pictures and view the Clydesdales as they are brushed, braided, and harnessed in the Old-World-Style Clydesdale Hamlet from noon to 1 p.m.

From 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., the horses will be hitched to the famous red beer wagon for parading and photo taking on the brewery's parking lot ... so long as the weather cooperates.  I took this photo of one of the beautiful Clydesdales who resides in Merrimack.

The tour is a lot of fun and is very informative.  It includes a visit to the Brew House, cold cellars, and high-speed packaging lines.

Budweiser had a stable of Clydesdales here in San Diego and I have seen the often. They are so beautiful. They have an outside grassy area with this white fence and the last time I was there one had a colt and it was fabulous to get to see them. Bet you if I were there today, you would be looking at  a portrait of that newborn.  :-)

Carole~  These Clydesdales are exceptionally beautiful.  I try to go visit them a couple times a year.

William ~  I didn't know they had Clydesdales in San Deigo.  They had one of the colts here a couple of years ago, but they stopped transporting them to various parts of the US as it was too hard on the colts.  clydesdale coltHere is the picture I captured of the little colt sleeping!

Toula ~ Clydesdales are amazing.  It is supposed to be in the 70's today and I think there will be a lot of people going to see them.
