Just Some Words of Inspiration for the Day

I found this on the counter at work the other day. It was simply typed on a plain sheet of paper; no author was noted. Just thought I'd pass it on.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway. Joy

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.
Create anyway.

If you find serentity and happiness, some may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today will often be forgotten
Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough
Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

I have seen this before and found it very inspirational. But thanks to you, I will print it out and leave it where I can see it. Maybe others will find it too and we'll all be living in a better world.

Peggy, I have seen this before...also loved it (and still do). It was attributed to Mother Teresa, when I came upon it, but I never looked into it further. Thanks for putting it back out there. Whoever wrote it, did so to help keep the rest of us on track!
