Take That Homes and Land Magazine and Shove It into the trunk of your car.  Leave it there for the next five years.  Then, take it out and look at all the homes.  You are going to wish that you had bought every single home advertised in that old magazine.

Bob,

This is likely to be a very true statement.  Prices are down, interest rates are down, and many are still nervous who will later regret decisions made today.

Christine, If either prices or interest rates increase substantially, then any home is going to be much more expensive to buy in the future.  Many people are forgetting that today's interest rates are nearly the lowest they have ever been.

Bob, that is the funniest thing I've read all day!  It's funny because it's so true.  There are going to be a lot of people kicking themselves when this market turns around.

Lina, I'm glad you got a kick out of it.  These may be the times may when fortunes are made by people who buy lots of real estate.

Yep.  I wish I had lots of extra "dough" right now.  I would snap-up many of today's bargains.

Bob-I have read that in past millionaires were made in times like these. I agree with you. I believe that rates will be much higher in the future to correct inflation and these low rates will be history. Inflation will also soar prices of building materials, etc and that will soar property values as well. Real estate is still a good long term investment.

Tom, I'm with you on wishing I had lots of extra dough now to buy properties.

Michele, Your points are right on about interest rates, inflation, building materials and property values.  And, yes, millionaires were made in times like these.

Ha, yes maybe.  But I think that if you take it out in six months, you'll be glad that you didn't.
