Mark - Thanks for the laugh today!
Hi Mark, you're right it's not very welcoming! I was showing a vacant lot a month or so ago, and - the neighbor had nailed no less than 4 "No trespassing" signs to the trees along the property line ! Needless to say, my buyer did not want to own a lot next to that guy.
Doesn't it kind of make you want to just keep driving?
Nice! I wouldn't even want to live next door to him, much less look at the house. Makes you wonder if he's a crank, or if there's a real problem with trespassers.
I am afraid to say I have seen a few of these for sale in our area. Let's just say the greeting committee didn't leave the light on for us.
Nothing ambiguious or subliminal about that message. "Keep out! This means you!"
Oh yeah. . . that's the home I want to show my clients! The epitome of curb appeal.
Mark, I am trying to figure out if I would drive up to that house in any way shape or form-listing or no listing....I would be compelled to get out of my car, with my arms in the air and a white flag, calling out to them "don't shoot!"
I have one better for you, I wish I had taken a picture of it. The sign on the gate said "If you are from John L. Scott turn around now and leave or you will be shot as a trespasser" Clearly had a beef with John L Scott!
