My heart is very heavy, to know that our military personnel who give of themselves fighting wars overseas to protect us here at home, are senselessly gunned down and injured on the very soil in which they should be safe.  I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those who were killed.  To those who are wounded and are being treated, I will keep you in my prayers. I wish you a very speedy recovery, and that you return to your family and loved ones.   May God bless you!!!

Susan - None of us can understand such an unspeakable horror. Our thoughts are with those who remain.

Susan, Our son just got out of the Army this last May.  He was stationed at Fort Hood.  He got out of Iraq in March and out of the Army in May.  Yesterday was a surreal day.  I called him, my Mother called him and my sister called him letting him know we were glad he was home.  You just don't expect that kind of attack on our own soil and on an Army base.  My heart goes out to those family members who lost their loved ones.  To get them back home safe and sound and then have something like this happen is just NOT RIGHT!!
