This was in the backyard of a home that I recently listed.  According to the homeowners, they have had it for three years and it was about 3 inches when they first purchased it.  It loves the north facing patio and needs three tablespoons of water once a month.

I love cactus.  Have a beautiful cactus garden with Golden Barrels that are about 20 years old and BIG.  Enjoy hearing the morning doves when they visit.

Now that is nice cactus.  It is quite large and well taken care of.

You would be surprised what the cactus and tropical stores would get for a plant like that. $$$

Sandra, I don't know if this is a golden barrel.  The container that these cacti are in is about 2 feet in diameter with each larger cactus about 2 inches in diameter and the little ones are about 1/2 inch.

Leolinda, that is a beautiful planting!  I may be strange, but I think that most of the cacti around is beautiful, especially while it is flowering!

Gene, interesting. I'll be sure to watch your blog posts to see how the Virginia Beach cacti resembles Arizona Cacti.

Leolinda, that's quite a nice potful of cacti. It reminds me of the years I lived in Texas.
