Just being a member of Activerain makes it obvious that if you're reading this you know the importance of the internet. We need to use the internet to its fullest extent, which means different things to different agents. However, all users of the internet have one common denominator. When a potential client visits your site, they can't tell if you are a giant in the industry, or just a few years in. What I mean is that the internet is an equalizer of sorts, it evens the playing field. No matter your companies size both sides of the spectrum have the same opportunity to get your word out.
Once you get prospects coming to your site, the object is to keep them their, and keep them coming back. There are many different tools that you can employ to keep them coming back. Include a link to your blog, be sure to update your blog often so prospective clients see you are active in real estate. Try pod as an alternative if writing isn't your thing. A link to current real estate news that updates daily and keeps articles of your choosing to be saved on your site.
Another creative way to "keep em coming back" is to offer visitors coupons, or special offers. Be sure that there are useful links that offers information that has some value for prospective home buyers and sellers. Show them that you have what they need.
The great thing about the internet is that you have control, and you decide how you want to market yourself. So get out there and use your imagination and get that website working for you.
