Come out, come out, wherever you are.

Lola, Jenny Kotulak, photo

There you are

What do you do when the weeds are bigger than you?  Walk on through to the other side, of course. I actually made her go into the weeds.  She got wet and muddy in the creek and I wanted some of it to rub off before she got in the car.  It worked.

It's a great time to get out and explore Oakville's trails and parks.  Don't forget Bronte Creek Provincial Park on Burloak Drive north of the Queen Elizabeth Way.

What a cutie Lola is. Great idea to get her cleaned off a bit - and made a great photo too.

Hi Wanda, Lola forces me to go for walks for which I am grateful.  I'm bored of walking around the neighbourhood now now we hop in the car, camera in tow and head out to explore.

Hi Shoshana - It was funny seeing this big field of green after walking through all the colourful leaves in the ravine.

Lee and Carol, She was such a mess.  It was muddy near the creek so she came out pretty messy.  She loves the water but it was running quite fast so I didn't want her to go in very far.

Hi George, She was pretty tired out by that point.  She was pretty patient as I took lots of photos today.

Al & Peg, It was so nice out I just threw her in the car and headed to Bronte Creek.  We both had a nice time.

Hi Debi - I should have taken a bigger photo so you could have seen that these weren't bushes but a field full of some kind of weeds.  I walked through them and they were almost up to my knees.

Oh, I just noticed that you changed your image.  Your big lighthouse is GONE.  Now its a tiny lighthouse.  Can you make it bigger, please?  How can people tell that I'm on your blog if they are more than a couple of feet from me?  Lots of nice autumn photos. :)

Hi Jenny... Lola sure looks like she's having a good time being outside in the high foliage.

Hi Fred - that's Lola my walking buddy.  She's good company and doesn't talk back lol.

Hi Haris - I know you are a real animal lover.  I love your cat Jacoby photos.

Hi Mary - I wish we had gone earlier. It was starting to get dark and weren't able to finish the trail we were on.  I would not want to get lost in there in the dark.

Hi Sylvie - that's just her tongue sticking out.

Hi Steve - "high foliage" - you mean the weeds?  Actually I have no clue what that ground covering is.

Hi Marc - blame Kathy Clulow.  When I saw her different background with all the poppies, I thought it might be time to put a more seasonal theme on mine.  Just a little change of scenery for a bit.

Jenny, I stared at the photo for the longest time.  I thought her tongue would hang DOWN like most dog's do ... but hers is curled up.... I swear I thought she had something in her mouth. She is soooo cute.
