Star of Hope has served Houston's homeless and hungry since 1907. Thanksgiving meals are paid for by donations from people that care, corporations, foundations, and churches.
Last year more than 538,000 meals were provided free.
On average, up to 1,000 men, women and children find shelter each night.
Spiritual growth, education and job training programs help many make a new, clean start at life.
