What is it about a waterfall? Whether it be a raging torrent or a mere trickle meandering through its predestined path, there is something about the sight and sound of a waterfall that enamors us.

To me, it is a quiet respite of solitude. A place to reflect and admire in complete wonderment the beautiful, awe inspiring tapestry that only the Creator can so masterfully paint...

What fabulous colors! But then, you're in Tennessee. Where is this waterfall? Now I have to go see if you have other photos. Lovely way to start a Sunday.

Great waterfall pic. I try to get them "in color" in the fall but haven't had the kind of success that I want. I am going to do a bit more exploring and uncover as many falls as I can over the next few years. It's something that I want to do!

Michael, those colors are gorgeous. The bright reds and golds against the waterfall backdrop is beautiful.

Great shot! Our leaves around here seemed to turn sporadically, so to get a full shot of color was hard for me.

Michael this shot is awesome, look all what nature has to offer. The colorful foliage makes a wonderful frame for the waterfall. Thanks for sharing.
