Those modern automobiles look sooo out of place in that scene. Nice photo, it makes me long for the days of yesteryear.
What a sweet little town! I lived in Georgetown (back in the 70's), and remember going through here...It looks beautiful!
Marianne,
This is such a pretty streetscape, Love the architectural styles - each store is different. :)

Thank you everyone for stopping in and leaving a comment. Old Town Eureka is in northern California. We used to live there, and I miss it. It's a very moist climate because it's right by the ocean. And the downtown area projects a real old time era.
I really like the variety and detail of the older architectural styles. Nice pic, Marianne!
Marianne That could be thousands of hometown USA's acroos the country. Is it Main St? :)
Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by! You know I don't think so. I know that the nearby community of Fernadale is, but I don't know about Eureka.
Hi Marianne: Thanks for sharing the photo - looks like a nice place to live.
:)
Hi Matt: I love your kitty-cat photo! Just watched a show last night about cats, called Cats 101. Very interesting! They talked about having to shave the furry Persian's into a Lion cut. I had a cat, when I lived in CA, that had fleas, and this was before that wonderful stuff you put on their necks, I had to shave the poor thing to help get rid of the fleas. But, I only shaved her in the summer. She was just a regular domestic long hair. (I still miss her.)
Hi Mariann, I love the different architetural syles, what a neat photo. I'm glad I read this was in California, because I didn't remember anything like this here:-)
Yes, northern California, Mary. We used to have a cabin up there when we lived in the Bay Area.
