Georgina-You are lucky indeed, the leaves have fallen off all the trees here, it looks like it is going to be a cold winter.

Georgina, I was at "Islands" do they have that near you? Great hamburgers and fries and it is a Hawaiian Theme, I had the Volcano Can not spell nor pronounce it:))) My mouth was on fire, Now to your picture are they Banana leaves?

Carole - we need the rain to make everything lush and green - in some parts anyway.

Endre - Not sure what Islands is, but it sounds like a restaurant which we don't have.  The leaves in the foreground are Ti plants, which are very useful for cooking, and just generally ornamental.  In the water are taro plants, a native staple which makes the poi.

Taro, ti leaves and a water fall, what more can you ask for when you live in paradise?

Aloha Georgina,

Mahalo for sharing the beautiful pic! It has an ethereal quality indicative of a disembodied spirit or wailua.

Peace,
