I was cleaning up the place while I was cooking supper and found an old Kellogg's box from Costco that Zoey the Cool Cat hasn't used in quite some time.

Remembering that I had moved a box a few weeks ago, and the simple act of relocating it piqued Zoey the Cool Cat's interest again, I decided to see if that was just a fluke, or if location really does make a difference.

So I moved the box from the garage to the bed in the home office. Following are the results of my experiment.

Great pics Russel.  We have two little Pekingese, andf the smallest one probably was a cat in a prior lifetime, as she always wamts to curl up inside something.

Zo can be a real estate coach....when you move...you have to change...exploring new places is a good thing...and don't be afraid to questions...like why keep your cereal in the garage...:)

Hi Russel, its funny how the felines like boxes.  One of my cats is rather large, and she loves to climb into boxes, even if they are too small for her.

I love it Russel!  Zoey seems to say..."Forget the toys...just give me a snug place to rest and I'm happy!" Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Hey, Russel. Good thing for Zoey that Jim is the condo expert in her area. Thanks for sharing, Jim

It's so funny how they love to snuggle into tiny spaces.  Zoey looks happy as can be in her cereal box.

Wanna sing "CAT IN A BOX" ala Justin Timberlake SNL style with me?  (snickers)

The cat caught my eye at first and then the gorgeous quilt in the background!  I make quilts so goofy stuff like that always catches my eyes!  If it was handmade, make sure you tell whomever made it that it is admired ;)

It doesn't take much to amuse cats. I have three Siamese and it's like living with three monkeys! When I have a box like this, one will get in and the other two hunker outside, waiting to pounce.

My cats are not box-people.  But if I pack my suitcase--- they find it and crawl in.  Kathy

Ya just gotta love Zoey the cool cat because she is so cool!  As Larry at the very top said, location, location, location!

Hey, Larry - So "location, location, location" applies to animals, too, huh? Interesting. LOL

Hey, Konnie - I had always been a dog person, but I think I'm pretty much a cat person now. I do really enjoy not having to clean up after a dog, or take it for a walk, or listen to it bark. I guess I'm just getting old and need a fine, furry, four-legged friend that is a little more laid back.

Hey, Rick - I want to come back as a cat, too, as long as it's an indoor cat.

Hey, Sally and David - Costco sells things in bulk, so I keep the extra out in the garage, and then when a box is empty, I'll just throw it somewhere to give Zoey the Cool Cat something new to explore.

Hey, Liz - Zoey the Cool Cat has no interest in boxes that are big enough to fit her comfortably, but give her something that she can just barely get into, and she's in.

Hey, Wanda - I've tried putting her toys in new locations, but that doesn't work with them. The only toys she likes all the time are the pine needles and the red ring from the milk carton.

Hey, Jim - Jim likes to sell big condos, though. Zoey the Cool Cat likes the smaller condos. LOL

Hey, Ann - She stayed happy for about four days and then got bored.

Hey, Sharon - Zoey the Cool Cat has her time with sacks, too. She prefers sacks from Trader Joe's.

Hey, Renee - Most of my quilts were made by my wise old grandmother, but some came from the San Diego Quilt Show and a couple of inexpensive ones from Sears for Zoey the Cool Cat.

Hey, Leslie - The beauty of cats, not needing much to amuse them.

Hey, Chris - I left my desk drawer partially open the other day, and when I came back from my home inspection, I couldn't find Zoey the Cool Cat anywhere, until I sat down at my desk and saw the desk drawer more than partially open.

Hey, Kathy - There was a story recently about a cat that got into a suitcase and the suitcase was lost by the airline, eventually winding up half way around the world. The cat made it back home, courtesy of the airlines, and was only a little skinnier.

Hey, Debra - I'm not sure any cat has claustrophobia. In fact, maybe they have bigophobia.

Hey, Al and Peggy - Right now the box is under the kitchen table, and Zoey the Cool Cat just thinks it's a new box.
