Cave Junction Quilters Club earn Kudos!Valley Girls Quilters Club

Special thanks are richly deserved by the Valley Girls Quilters Club.

These nice people recently held their 2009 quilt show and donated the proceeds from their quilt raffle;  $750 went to the Illinois Valley Smart Reader program, and $750 was given to the Illinois Valley Boys and Girls Club.Valley Girls Quilters Club

The Valley Girls Quilters Club are a generous group of people to do such nice things for Cave Junction.

Valley Girls Quilters Club

I just recently sold a home in Cave Junction to a lady who owns a quilt business in Northern California, and I know she is looking forward to making new friends in this area.

She will feel right at home with these fine, community-spirited folks.

Information about the 2010 Valley Girls Quilters Club quilt show can be found at Picket Fence Fabrics, 379 Caves Highway, Cave Junction, OR 97523.  Their telephone number is (541) 592-5003.

I have quilt scraps (variety of colors and sizes) to give away.  Would there possibly be anyone at the show on Saturday who would like them?  I am cleaning up to move, and just don't want to move so much stuff.  I haven't sorted them, just took them out of tubs and put them in bags.
