Cave Junction Quilters Club earn Kudos!
Special thanks are richly deserved by the Valley Girls Quilters Club.
These nice people recently held their 2009 quilt show and donated the proceeds from their quilt raffle; $750 went to the Illinois Valley Smart Reader program, and $750 was given to the Illinois Valley Boys and Girls Club.
The Valley Girls Quilters Club are a generous group of people to do such nice things for Cave Junction.
I just recently sold a home in Cave Junction to a lady who owns a quilt business in Northern California, and I know she is looking forward to making new friends in this area.
She will feel right at home with these fine, community-spirited folks.
