12 Comments on New York Feng Shui and Missed Opportunities by Long Island NY Feng Shui Consultant
Hi Carole, I think you are absolutely right...opportunities come knocking but often times we don't have our eyes or our minds open wide enough to recognize them.
Thank you for another "eye opening" post, Carole. You always put such thought and heart into your posts, and I thank you for that.
Question. I have heard some people talking about absorbing positive, and renewing energy from the earth by being barefoot. Any thoughts?
Carole - Soooo true and so important ! One must have keen awareness to take advantage of these opportunities otherwise they can just slip away without even knowing they were there in the first place ! This is one of the reasons I need to get back to exercising as it makes me more energetic and clears my mind. Hope all is well with you ! Great post as usual : )
Hi Carole... I say that when opportunity comes knocking, invite it in for a cup of tea and some conversation. We need to be open to things for good things to enter our lives, but we should still be selective in what we allow to progress beyond that point of consideration.
Hi Carole...Great Post, I agree whole heartily, don't close your eyes until you see the whole picture.
Cheers
Carole I loved that! I've been going through so much change lately- and all that you say is true - and so easily forgotten - and great to be reminded! Thank you!
I love this post, Carole! I am a big believer in the axiom: When one door closes, another one opens. Thanks for writing this.
Sandy, My clients who are looking for jobs have said they never would have considered one that came their way...had they not thought of these words. You just never know.
Hi Bruce, Interesting question and yes, I've heard (and done) the same thing. Feng Shui is very closely related to the Earth and Nature and some of this is another way of connecting.
Christopher and Stephanie, We must be on the same wavelength. I'd stopped exercising for just a short time and went right back to it because it did make me feel better when it's done consistantly.in my case every day!
Steve, I love that saying and hope you'll allow me to borrow it! I always look at things before I turn them down and have found some things I would have thought of at the surface is better then it appears.
Fred, Hopefully they're wide open :) And stay that way. I often wonder what I may have missed when I was much younger and thought differently.
Liz, I know the changes! I think you should move to NY and try looking for a house here :) How is your search going? I haven't had any luck at all :(
Carole ..what a beautiful post..and wonderful advise...:0)
HELPFULHANNAH your friend in Philadelphia
Carole, I just love the way yor write. The words dance off the page. Great post for me to read today. Thanks for this!
I love this post Carole!
I forget to take a breath and just relax. I used to go for walks to clear my head around Argyle Lake I might add, and your post reminded me I should go back to doing that again. Thank you! :)
I like to create two top lists whenever I am considering something, one for positive aspects and one for negative aspects. Whichever list has the most items on it wins, and sometimes that win is to decline the opportunity.
Russel's wise old grandmother used to tell us that when opportunity came knocking, open the door. If no one was there, check the back door, the garage door, and all the windows.
