Vancouver Staging Training Class ProjectI am so proud of the students from my recent home staging training class held in Vancouver. By putting into practice the skills and techniques learned during the 2  full days of previous classroom instruction they completely reconfigured and refreshed a property to better prepare it for sale.

Incredibly the talented group transformed the listing in a matter of hours but perhaps what is even more remarkable is that they used only what was already available in the home.

After languishing on the market, the home received an offer the day after it was staged, in fact it received multiple offers! The result was a sale above the asking price within a week.

I received the following email from the listing agent.

" ... I just wanted to let you know that we have officially sold the listing. It went into multiples last week and sold for over asking for $650,000. Once again, I want to thank you all so much for doing such a great job with the home staging. It was very well done, really opened and brightened up the home, and definitely helped with generating so much interest."

Here are a few of photos of the transformation....

You taught them well, Jackson. What an excellent trainer to have teach a staging course.

Please extend my congratulations to the students as their home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before & After Pictures.

Hi Jackson, it's Sally from your August Vancouver class.  Thanks for the introduction to Active Rain.  I'm slightly addicted!  I love your "less is more" approach, and you're a fantastic instructor - I can say this first hand.  The transformation of this property is amazing.  Bravo and hope to bump into you sometime soon.

Kathy,

Thank you so much for the feature! The class pulled together and worked really hard on this property.

Liz,

Thanks for stopping in, was great speaking with you on the phone today!

Cathy Lee,

It was indeed a drastic improvement... removing the drapes alone did wonders for the presentation ;)

Christine,

I love the name of your company! As a CSP you know what these gals went through for their training. Whenever alumni come back to my class I always ask if they feel like writing the exams again. No one has said yes yet ;)

David,

You forgot to mention kindness, graciousness, generousity and of course humilty! Thanks for commenting I am a great fan of your work.

Beautiful transformation.  Look forward to reading more of your posts as we're considering sending one of our staff to 'school' to become a home stager.

Hi Jackson, you have passed along the most important staging lesson to these students. Less is more. If you are asking yourself if just one more thing is needed, you are designing. Stop yourself and get back to staging. Beautiful work as always. YOU will always be a star in my books. Congratulations to all the grads, you were very fortunate to have Jackson as your instructor. Years from now you will be saying... I remember that Jackson always said.......

Hello Michelle,

I was thinking about my favorite "all I did" stager and see that you have been busy networking with Cheryl Tiegs and  Kimberly Seldon!

I love what you said "If you are asking yourself if just one more thing is needed, you are designing." I am going to quote you on that in my future classes.

Thanks for commenting and I look forward to seeing you again soon ;)
