"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."

John Fitzgerald Kennedy

veteran's day

Today is a day to remember all of the men and women who have served and those who  are currently serving our country.  These men and women have made and continue to make sacrifices so that we can live in a land of freedom.

On Verterans Day we thank all of the men and woman who have died, become wounded or disabled.

My broker's son, Tim, has served 4 tours of duty in Iraq.   For the past 4 years he has not spent the holidays with his own family. This year he will be home for the holidays.

Tim is one of many veterans who has repeatedly volunteered to keep the the peace and to ensure our freedom at home at great sacrifice to his family and himself!

To Tim and his family, and all of the families who have given so much, we pray for a speedy return and for peace in the world!   We thank you and your families for sacrificing so much.

America is not perfect, but it is the greatest democracy in the world and for this we say THANKS today.

New Hampshire's. Gov. John Lynch has issued a proclamation recognizing the 90th anniversary of Veterans Day and urging all New Hampshire residents to honor the many contributions made by our veterans.

In observance of Veterans Day, Gov. Lynch will address the Veterans Day ceremony at the State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Later in the day, Gov. Lynch will participate in a ceremony naming the bridge at the intersection of Routes 12A and 123 the Alstead Veterans Memorial Bridge.

THANKS TO ALL OUR VETERANS AND GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Excellent choice of quotes for today...and every day...it never matters what you say if you don't live by what you say you believe.
