I was just over at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetary yesterday. They are so beautiful yet sad at the same time.

They died to keep us free. It's terribly sad to see the tombstones in this picture recognizing that it is probably only a fraction of the total amount that have surrendered their lives to protect our country.
