I know, I know...I am a little late on posting this, but better late than never!
I love Holidays...I love Veteran's Day...Today, In Honoring the US Veterans, public recreation lands and national forests, will be waiving enterance fees for the day.
Now I think that is pretty cool! The Department of Interior is honoring the men and women who have served our nation.
Public Recreation Lands include those managed by National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and the Department of Agriculture.
What a great way to spend your day off!

I have no problem paying for access to some of the national parks, the environment, the views and so on, i do have a challenge with paying to access a regional park, this is a local park west of phoenix but you have to pay to go in, it should be like the rest of the parks around Phoenix, FREE.
