As Seen on the MLS: #1

By
Real Estate Agent with United Realty Group, Inc. BK641413

Some photos I come across on the MLS don't quite fit into "The Lazy Agent Series" I started last week but are interesting and educational in their own unique way so I've decided to name this new series of posts "As Seen on the MLS".  Maybe it's just me, but I've always believed that part of my duty when I'm the listing agent is to advise sellers on matters that may affect them or the sale of their property somehow.  Many sellers don't realize how the photos of their property on the MLS can sometimes help or hurt them in any number of ways.

Looking at these photos, can you find reasons why a listing agent may want to think twice about including them?

There's no rating system for this series, but comments are always welcome.

I love the "hunting" bedroom.  What I can't understand is why realtors do not use all the pictures they are allowed to use on the MLS or they take pictures that show up really dark and you cannot make out what room it is. I come across some pretty bad ones like every one else I'm sure but these are unbelievable.  I came across a pic about a month ago of what was suppose to be a master bedroom but showed a screaming child on the side of the bed.

I wonder what ther trampoline man was thinking?  How was that going to sell his house? Did the home come with the trampoline?

The hunters room would not have been as bad if they cleaned up the room and made the bed.

Good pictures.  Hey the trampline man could be used to sell the house with the right caption.

Hmmmm....... "Interested in Flipping Property?"

ROFL....so apparently we are in the business now of selling animals (dead one's and alive one's) and kids now too?

These agents are just flippin' crazy.

Do you think maybe they could of made the bed at least?  Oh, forget it.  What the h*ll am I thinking?  And what's the point of the first picture?  Are we looking at the color of carpet or does fido convey with the house?

Love it!  We had a case here where a couple of dogs were outside the house, and were caputred in the shot through the front window.  Lets just say our MLS had the photo removed because of what the dogs were doing that could be seen in the photo. :)

Want a ghost in your kitchen? This one was on our local MLS a few years back. The home sure got a lot of exposure, as I think it was sent around just about every office in the area.

Good grief - the dog and the trampoline guy were in the MLS????  What is wrong with those agents to put stuff like that in the MLS?  You just have to wonder what those sellers would think if they only could see how professionally their home was being portrayed not only to the agents using the MLS but to the public as well....!!?!?!?!?  Jeez....

That picture with the dogs outside the window came from Teresa's MLS???  That picture must have found its way around the whole world.  How funny to know find out where it actually came from!

LEANNE- WHERE DO YOU FIND THESE?  This is the funniest series I've ever seen- THANK YOU!  Is that actually a GUN below the deer in picture 2?  And lucky for the water bottle in #2- may need to water the "daisies" on the table (see them?  They're next to the fake designer bag)...

OMG- I edited- I missed the cat on the bed!  He's adorable!  You finally have an animal that's alive- in the middle of a room of dead ones- OK, you're still on a roll.
