hunting spot by Ann hayden selectann.comMissouri Hunters....Deer Firearms Season Opens Saturday November the 14th, 2009 and ends November 24th, 2009

So all you avid hunters need to get yourself out to your favorite hunting grounds.  As for the deer hunter "widows"... that would be the ones who stay behind, I have noticed there are going to be some serious shopping deals going on.   Kohl's, JC Penney, Weekends Only, etc.  are having some seemingly good sales.  Why wait for Black Friday??

Everyone needs to be extra careful driving at night for the next few weeks.  The deer seems to lose the battle with the autos this time of year at an alarming rate.  It makes me sad since they are such beautiful creatures.

Happy Hunting...to all!

Ann,

I think it's still bow season here in NC, or maybe black powder starts this weekend...but my in-laws live in Lake St Louis and were here 2 weeks ago. The guys went hunting and didn't see more than 2 deer in 3 days - of course the 70 degree weather didn't help much!

oh, and us girls went shopping!

Hi Ann, I like the way you offered an alternative for the hunting "Widows"  the mall sounds like a great idea!

Good morning ma'am,

Not being a hunter, of deer or specials in the mall, I will stay warm at home in front of the TV.  LOL

It has been bow hunting season for awhile here now and everytime you hear a noise in the woods it is almost always a person.  I hate this time of year because you have to keep your pets inside and be careful with everyone roaming the woods.  I am always very happy when hunting season is over!

Debra,

I am careful walking in the woods...  I am always afraid of being shot.

Renee,

Those are some of the best reasons for deer season...
