Ravencrest condo - sold in just 23 days!

Despite the market we are in, I'm still seeing success in the Ravencrest Condo community.  I just sold one there - we were under contract in 23 days and I had multiple offers for my seller.  We sold for full asking price and paid the buyer's closing cost.  The key to this deal was a motivated seller who understood the importance of doing it right the 1st time.  By this, I mean she had her home in excellent condition the day we went on the market.  Certainly, it was an incredible unit (an end unit of the building located in the back of the complex and backed to open space) but the seller was a huge help in the quick sale of this property. From little details, like keeping the condo in great shape for showings, to being flexible for showings anytime, I couldn't have sold it this quick without her! Sellers: buyers notice the small things. They'll spend much more time focusing on the things that are problems rather than appreciating the things that are done well.

Also, I got more sign calls off this listing that any listing I've ever had.  There is a HUGE demand in this area and this complex for the right unit at the right price.  I was amazed to find that buyers don't mind the lack of garages when there's so many other benefits such as low HOA fees, a pool, and great central location. In fact, with the brand new University Village Shopping Center located just down the street, I think we'll see this area continue to develop and grow in popularity.  Now's a great time to take advantage of the market and get a condo in this complex, whether you use it for a residential rental, corporate rental ($$ cha-ching), or personal residence. With the extended tax credit, low interest rates, and amazing prices in this market, it's a great time to buy a home in the Colorado Springs area!
