I would Like to take this time to thank one of our newest contributors to AR for always sharing his Polite, middle of the road opinions and political views with us...

I am proud to call this man my cyberspace friend.... Even though we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting in person I feel a deep bond with my new found friend and it grows ever deeper as I continue to be privileged to read his heartfelt words...

Linda, I share your fondness for Dan Sanley. I thought it important to actually find a way to privately communicate with him after all those vicious rumors and innuendo which then accelerated to out and out crude comments when he responded to other's blogs. I find it hard to bear that some of the same people who came out so coarsely against him, now comment on his blogs, all the while never offering an apology, as if nothing of that sort ever transpired. It illustrates who really lives by their inspirational words. Sadly, not enough of us.

Um... Yeah... what they said. We feel ok to comment on his blogs without some people here on our rears every second.

OMG! Now I feel like one of America's Most Wanted. Where did you find this? In a local post office? Thanks for calling me a friend. I could use one or two. And thanks for calling me a vet. I am proud of that. Also proud to be from NE. Sorry to see so many bad things said about it. We are known for our corn, and the stuff that grows in fields as well. As for middle of the road, we shall see about that. Next blog please......

LM: Just heard some terrible news today. You are in my prayers and a special candle is lit for you first thing in the a.m. You have been a kind and special friend. Hard to find nowadays. I really think this blog should take down my photo and put up yours, as an honorary Nebraskan. They are one of the most conservative states in the country (after Wyoming), but they are the "good" conservatives (with REAL values), and would welcome you with open arms. I promise that. They are kind and loving, as are you.

You have an ocean in Nebraska? ;-)

Linda Mae - Thank you for this post about our new friend Dan. I am appalled at how he was treated when joining in here and very grateful he stuck with it. I enjoy reading his perspective.
