AMF Circle Lanes - Bowling Fun

Looking for a fun place to take the kids or for a fun night out with a group of friends?  AMF Circle Lanes in East Haven fits the bill on both counts.

Bowling at AMF Circle Lanes is a wonderful way to entertain the kids with their bowling birthday packages. The center handles all the details and puts up bumpers on the lanes to make sure no one throws a gutter ball.

Adults can enjoy a late night or weekend fun with Xtreme Bowling.  It takes bowling to a whole new level as the center turns up the music and turns down the lights for a fun-filled time with your friends.  And if you're looking to participate in a challenging sport that you can play year round league bowling is right up your alley.

AMF Circle Lanes - Bowling Fun

One of the great things about bowling is that it something that the entire family can do together.  My husband and I are both avid bowlers and our two sons started bowling at the age of  four.  Bowling became a part of our lives and a wonderful way for us to spend time together.  Our sons would bowl in their Saturday morning leagues, we all bowled together in an Adult-Child league and they would often come with us when either my husband or I bowled in our adult leagues.

So the next time you're looking for a way to entertain the kids or can't think of a thing to do on a Saturday night, drive on over to AMF Circle Lanes and score some fun knocking down those pins.

Donna.. I took my son, Jakob to "T" Bowling on Tuesday, it was his birthday and something new for him to try.  He *really* like it.

Hi Donna...when I was a kid we used to go night-owl bowling where you would  pay a discount fee and bowl all night. I can't imagine doing that now but it was fun then. Bowling is a nice and relaxing game.

Bowling is great inexpensive fun for the whole family, and it gets the kids away from the video games too.

Donna, the last time I bowled was years ago, duck pins, set them up manually and had all the saints watching us, but that's a story for another post. Thanks for sharing

Valerie - It's a great sport for kids to get involved in.  My boys practically grew up in the center I worked at prior to getting into real estate.  To this day they tell me they were some of their best memories while growing up.

Fred - We don't have any blowing alleys here either but have a few bowling alleys. :)  Tell me why Victoria does not partake in the sport of bowling?

John - Oh I remember those nights too!  I worked at a bowling center where we did high school lockdowns.  The kids would come in the evening with sleeping bags and could bowl all night if they wanted to.  They were a blast!

Bill - All I've ever bowled is ten pin.  I'm so glad you loved it....care to bowl me in match someday? :)

Tom
- It was the glue that kept our family together.  With parents and kids going in so many different directions today, we found bowling a great way to bond with our children and have some great fun.

Hannah
- I'm going to have to come visit you and give you a few lessons. :)

George
- I took almost eight years off and just got back in the game last year.   Maybe we should get some of our CT Active Rainers together for a fun night of bowling! :)

Ed - Wow....I can't imagine bowling with manual pin settings but I've seen it on TV in both ten pin and duck pin centers.  I know lots of people love duck pin bowling but ten pin is my preference.

George - Me too.  With the holidays coming up, I'm not sure if it's something to plan for in the near future or to wait until after the first of the year.

Donna, you are right, during the holidays would be a little tough, so some time next year sounds good to me.

Lori - Time to give it a try again.  I enjoy it so much.  In fact I just got home from my Monday night bowling league.  It's the one night a week that I really look forward to to just relax and have some fun.

Our AMF bowling lanes closed a few years ago, but I understand they are supposed to come back bigger and better at one of the Indian casinos here.

Russell - We had two AMF centers in our area but unfortuntely one closed up which happened to be my "home" house.  The PBA used to host one of their tournaments at the Mohegan Sun Casino here in CT but for some reason stopped their sponsorship.  It was a great event and drew people from all over the New England area. I'm sure it will be a great draw the San Diego area when the lanes opens up in the one in San Diego.

Where do you find these great stamps?  I love them!!
