Photo journalism takes on many shapes. Sometimes it is working behind the shutter of a DSLR, other times it is working behind the shutter of a video camera.

I am currently working working on a project commemorating the life of a local businessman and Rotarian. Although I never met the man, I feel that I have come to know him through the hearts and memories of his family and friends.

What a wonderful project, Michael. I watched the video and the gentleman made some excellent points. The Rotary Club is a wonderful organization and does great works.

D&D, Thanks. This is a wonderful project. The book will be released sometime early next year...

Loreena, I am using Final Cut, but Sony Vegas works well on a PC and costs less...

That's a great thing to do, Michael.  I'm sure the finished project will be priceless to that man's family and friends.

Michael, the words the gentleman spoke about getting along touched me greatly this morning. I had some thoughts yesterday after reading a few posts over the past few days that I decided NOT to go forward with a post on. Your gentleman here put it so well. Thank you for sharing that with me this morning.

What a wonderful tribute to a man who lived a good life, and probably his good deeds are for the most part, unknown. Great job Michael.

Michael,

That is great!

Maybe you are the person that can answer my question about a new lens that I want to purchase.  I posted a question blog this morning seeking input.

I want to order today so that I'll have it for my trip the first week in December.

Input on brand etc for a 300mm lens with f2.8 for Nikon D90.  I read from time to time but still have so much to learn.

Thanks for any input you can provide.

Michael, it all starts at home.  What your kids see you doing and saying is what they will do an say.  Choose your words and actions wisely.

Michael - I think it is wonderful when special people have their lives chronicled.  I am certain what you write will be well worth reading.
