(not so) Speechless Sunday ~ Downtown Franklin, TN

Yesterday was one of those "Picture Perfect" afternoons to visit downtown Franklin, TN. Nice warm autumn afternoon temps and plenty of sunlight brought out folks out by the droves. Looks like I was not the only person out to cop a few rays and enjoy the afternoon.

Looks like a good day for a stroll in downtown, do a little shopping, a little snack.  A great way to spend the day.

We live not far from Franklin...Wisconsin....and here the leaves have left...peel back the calendar 30-45 days and this could be Wisconsin....my favorite colorful time of year.

Looks like you had the same kind of stellar day we had yesterday Michael.  Only our trees are all bare!

Michael,

A very nice look at Franklin, TN.  I see that you still have some color on the trees too.

Had dinner in downtown Franklin last night.  I make it a point to schedule out-of-town buyers for some time in downtown.  That usually makes up their mind that they are moving here.

MIchael, it looks like the fall colors are in full swing out there.  We're in the middle of our 3rd big snow storm (big = more than 12"), so our colors are long gone!

Beautiful weather here too so I imagine DownTown Waynesville has lots of lookie-loos this afternoon. I hope some of them "Buy Haywood!"

It got pretty nice here today as well. I heard we'd by in the 60's but I didn't believe it originally. Around 1:00 it became absolutely gorgeous, I had to grab my camera and go for a long walk. LOL

Downtown will be busy for the rest of the year I'm sure. We have a lot of holiday events scheduled for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
