Hi Kathy, Hmmm... I'm hoping that frog changes his mind and lets the bird go free !
Kathy, you always give us some great bird shots although in this case I like this one a little better... :o)
Jared and Amanda- maybe they were just playing.
Ann- I think so. That's the hardest part of my walks every morning, especially during nesting season.
Susan- I'm not a fan of frogs, cooked or otherwise, but it's hard to see Mother Nature's lessons in life.
Jenny-Can't tell you how many times my husband or myself are without our cameras and miss out on great moments.
Kirsten- Sure, I'll buy that one.
Bill G- funny! You never know? Could be???
Bill L- Thank you for your kind words.
Hi Kathy, Oh my! That is one of those perfect timing shots. Glad to hear they were just playing. Great photo and great post.
Awesome, awesome capture, Kathy! You must have been really excited to get this one!
Debi
I can't believe you got that! That is the circle of life -- poor little froggy though!
Gary- I actually saw an alligator "play" with a turtle once. Now, I'm not sure if the turtle saw it that way, but he did manage to walk away.
Jim & Maria- But still. . . it's still a frog. Actually, when you think about eating any living animal, you might become a vegetarian.
Paul- I agree. Have to wonder where we fall in that circle!
Debi- my husband actually took the photo. (under MY direction, of course!)
Marney- Have to give my husband credit for the photo but he was "at the ready" for that shot.
Tony & Darcy- No, I don't think that frog is with us anymore. Thanks for stopping by.
Kathy,
What a shot. This could become a viral internet photo. Great job.

What's opp's for someone is lunch for someone else.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Rich- wouldn't that be something!! How does that happen??
Lou-Absolutely. That green heron is but a morsel for an alligator.
Leah-One of the reasons I enjoy walking out at Green Cay-you just never know what you'll see!
That is one awesome shot! Your husband is quick with a camera! Poor little frog!
Sharon- Can't tell you how many we've missed!!
Debra- Hi,it's a green heron. We were lucky.
Kathy,
Frogs seem to be a mainstay of the green heron - have seen many encounters like this. :)
Steve
Kathy, Wow, this is a great shot. You were definitely in the right place at the right time, unfortunately this little frog was not.
