Tony,  I have followed everything I could since that day.  There is not doubt in my mind what happened.  I have an idea some of the "who's" but I'll keep that to myself. 

I have no problem fending off anyone who wants to offer counter evidence to what I present.  Fact is fact.  The people who met in Dallas the night before and were in Dallas that day reads like a who's who.

Our government does not have the right to conceal the details of his killing.  It took 100 years to find out Lincoln was assassinated by members of our government and not some lone madman.

Patrick,  I am by no means offended.  This is the kind of exchange that is healthy.  Other speeches JFK delivered dealt directly with the cold war and our enemies and he identified them in clearer terms. 

If we look at the Secret Society - not as a focus on a government, but in broader sense - a coup falls into the same definition as far as the components are concerned.

It has long been rumored that a group of powerful men control the destiny of governments through coup's, assassinations, financial unrest and wars.    Our own CIA has participated in such activities since its inception.  If I am not mistaken Taylor Caldwell's book "The Captains and the Kings" chronicles the formation of these "overseers" of world destiny. 

The "Cartel" as it is often referred to included members of the Rothschild family, Rockefeller, Carnegie, JP Morgan and probably one or two I am missing.  I have seen it referred to as the Illuminati which is linked to the Skull and Bones society.

For the time being let's put aside who we believe he is speaking about in this speech.  Let's look at how he charges the press.  I am going to paraphrase.  Compare those words to the press we know we have today.

The press is the only business in the United States protected by the Constitution.  Free Speech.  It is the duty of the press not to be a friend of the administration.  Not even mine he said.  He welcomed criticism of his administration no matter how harsh.  Out of criticism comes change.  The duty of the press is not just to entertain.  It was the duty of the press to question, delve and report.  The press is to report in an unbiased fashion to educate, report dissent and at times anger the  public.

I have to ask you Pat, is that the press you see today?  Woodward and Bernstein fit that description, but that was 30 odd years ago.  Do we have a free press when our administration wishes to silence Beck and Rush?  Do we have a free press when you look at the coverage the MSM gives this administration? 

When candidate Obama made a faux pas during the elections it was over looked.  His associations with Ayers, Wright and Acorn were pushed under the rug.  Hillary makes a misstep about ducking and she is lambasted.  Sarah Palin had a bad interview with Katy and it torpedoed her.  Biden makes a stupid and incorrect statement and it is given a pass.

To achieve any kind of take over the press has to be silenced so they do not sound the alarm to the
American public.  The press is or should be our only source of unbiased information.  Control the press and you control the masses.

Even if he was talking about the Soviet block, he said "No nation can survive without debate and dissent".  His statement is not unlike that which our founding fathers stated as to the duty of our citizens.  Cry out, rise up and eliminate a repressive government.  That  is the duty of the American public.

Is debate and dissent encouraged by the press today? The Tea Party movement is ridiculed.  The march on Washington was reduced to a couple hundred paid malcontents.  We have no free press in our country today.

When I said you could read that speech today and have it be germane - it was two fold.  The portion outlining the responsibility of the press certainly is very meaningful today.

If you watched the last video - it has to raise significant questions as to who the people are who ordered his assassination.  That could not have been accomplished by one lone madman.  There were powers inside our government who facilitated the assassination.

Tony, We are moving towards outlining the powers who were at work in our country at that point of time.  The associations are intertwined and the various interests are astounding. 

To accomplish a coup it only takes one - let's say military person to express their desire to a political foe who in turn speaks to a financial malcontent.  Before long you have all the ingredients of a conspiracy.  All that is needed is the money and the "muscle".

Patrick,  We will not be able to point a finger - we would need too many.  Kennedy was hated by the special interests in our country. He was a threat to them and he could not be controlled. He was determined to set this country on the path he felt was right for America.

Just a note:  This speech was delivered on April 27 1961.  The Bay of Pigs invasion took place on April 17 1961.  As we know from historical accounts JFK was unaware the invasion was being carried out until it actually took place.

One would have to think JFK was pretty hot at this moment in time. He had been blinded sided and it took place without his approval.  Take the composition of the Secret Society and apply it to the Bay of Pigs. 

History will show that Richard Nixon as VP to Eisenhower was responsible for participating and approving those plans.  The Bay of Pigs took place 3 months after Kennedy took office.  Military, Political, Financial and Industrial interests may have profited from a successful overthrow in Cuba.

I'm not drawing the lines, I'm just suggesting the definition can fit more than just the Cold War.

Pat,  I had not heard the scenario that he know in advance about the Bay of Pigs.  I'll do some more research. What I had always thought was fact was that he received a 3am phone call asking for air support for the invasion gone bad.  I also thought one of the reasons the CIA was disenchanted with him was because he refused and many were killed including seal teams that night.

On the duties of the press as it relates to today - we agree.  We have a press controlled by the White House. That is a dangerous liaison.  No wonder the majority of Americans who think they are getting the news are in La La land.

Ron, In 1990 I went to Dealey Plaza.  Since the day of the assassination I had always wanted to go there.

I had read everything I could get my hands on and seen all kinds of pictures.  What struck me standing in the very spot he was killed was - it was like shooting fish in a barrel.  You must be there to fully appreciate the distances and the vantage points.

We were reading the bronze plaque on the side of the building when two young men came up and stood by us reading.  I turned to one of them and asked them - "Do you believe Lee Harvery Oswald acted alone"?  One of them said in a British accent - "Only a fool would believe that".  These were people who were not alive when he was killed.  They were not even Americans.  They were tourists.  Are we so uncaring as a society that we would allow this cover up to continue?

Cheri, I just do not understand how so many people of power have jumped on this bandwagon.  Are they so stupid they cannot see?

I never watch the View nor Katie or any of them.  They make me sick.

Larry,  According to reports released - and by the way - the results of journalists - the Zapruder film was bought almost immediately by Time magazine.  While in the editing room of Time the film broke.  Allegedly a technician spliced it back together.  Then it was released for public viewing.

In the book High Treason by Groden and Livingstone the film is missing frame 155 and 156. The Warren Commission only began to print frames with 171.  Acoustical study of the tape places the first shot at precisely frames 155 and 156.  Experts during the second review of evidence The Assassinations Committee have substantiated this.

The most critcal piece of evidence that Time magazine payed hundreds of thousands of dollars for was given to a junior technician to enlarge and prepare for viewing.  Time claims the editing was accidental.   Does this seem reasonable?

Nick,  we look at John's assassination in isolation.  We forget Bobby was assassination by a bullet.  Teddy was assassinated by Chappaquiddick.  The Dynasty was rendered ineffectual.  Any strong political opposition to the agenda of the Secret Society was eliminated in a matter of years.  Bobby was killed in 1968.  Teddy's Presidential aspirations were killed in 1969. 

Tony, As time goes by and more and more pieces do not fit, even the most doubtful have to draw the line.  The majority of Americans know in their heart we had a Coup de tat.  During the aftermath the government successfully lied to the public.  As contradictory facts were released the public began to see this for what it was.

The Zapruder film was not shown in the correct sequence ( of the frames not removed) until the 1980's.  The pictures of the bums on the railroad overpass were not released until the 1980's.  I saw the fist time it hit the news and it was Walter Chronkite who broke the story.

Tony, Almost every time I have had a conversation with a group of people there are those who simply do not want to connect the dots. The thought of other Americans being capable of this vile act is too much for some to even want to give credence to. I can understand their reluctance. In regard to the Kennedy assassination, more and more people have gradually come to realize there are men who have had positions of power who are not honorable for trustworthy.

Nick, That was not my assertion.  It was another author who felt the Kennedy episode was an assassination attempt that he survived. Given his history of booze and women it was completely possible those facts were capitalized on in setting the stage. It may have been he was not to survive that accident.

Bob,  Thank you .  I was not sure if I could post this in your group.  I have two more installments that I'll  post also for you and your readers.  I think we do share the same view of our government.

robert,  thank you very much. This is indeed a subject I am passionate about. 

Robert, Almost 80% of the American public believes it was a conspiracy. I'm not sure that they fear the government - I believe they do not know how to force the government to be forth coming.  Our Founding Fathers knew.

Personally, it sickens me to know we have let this get swept under the carpet for almost 50 years.  If the government was forced to be Of The People - even the truth about Roswell and Area 51 would have to be revealed.

bob, so much is on the web that before you could only find in print books or doing your own research.  I've found many things I did not know existed.
