Speechless Sunday Feature Photo, on Lisa Hill's Real Estate Blog

It's Speechless Sunday, and once again, my post is not speechless. But I will keep this one short and sweet  =)  Once again, my friend Nick (Nickrun on DeviantArt.com) has captured the silhouette of a beautiful bird, in a lake at sunset... two, no make that three, of my favorite things! Lakes, Sunsets and Birds =D

Lisa - that is a spectacular photo. I always enjoy seeing the waterbirds - we have lots of cranes and herons at the lagoon very close to out house and often see them flying over the house heading to the pond on the golfcourse.

Lisa,

Nice shot of the egret. Great lighting really sets the mood for the photo. Quite nice. :)

Well, I let these comments get away from me, and now I'm a bit overwhelmed at trying to respond to you all >.<  So I'm going for a general response ;-)

To all the compliments... thank you. I think Nick has a great eye! And I was surprised when I first discovered this hidden talent. He only recently started going public with his photos =)

Charles- I didn't take the picture ;-)

Jon- No, he's not local. This is actually someone I met through YouTube, before Google destroyed the community there. He was one of my first subscribers, 3 years ago. And he's now one of my Facebook friends. He's trying to generate some more interest in his work, and I love presenting his images here. He's hoping to eventually be able to quit his current line of work, and become a photographer. I hope my little links will help him =)

Susie- Nick doesn't actually live in Florida. But he has spent this entire year touring the country, and taking pictures everywhere. And he did stop in Florida for a while. I'm going to have to ask him if he actually took this picture here though. But that is the reason why I chose this one. He has a lot of photos from all over the country, but I've been sticking to the ones that look like Florida =)
