My family and I will be in my farm slicing water melon and giving them to the residence at their neighborhood parade and party! I have been doing this for four years and have had many of the home owners come up to me (after taking a slice) thanking me for my continued support of their neighborhood. I also give out business cards and home market analysis certificates that I had printed on heavy card stock. Additionally, I hold a chili cook-off and halloween art contest with trophies for the winners (judged by other home owners) in October.

That is a great Idea David I was already trying to do something for my area because as a work at home mom in a military area I know there must be other moms who may be tired of just seeing the kids and the house all day. I never thought of it in a marketing perspective though. Great Job
