What is a Short Sale Expert?

CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert - a lot of good Short Sale Learning to be had - but does it make the difference between two different agents or real estate teams when it comes to a successful negotiation of a Short Sale?

Book Smarts
I would say that it could be the difference between Book Smarts and

Street Smarts
Street Smarts.  Which is more better :-)

There is a definate place for those of us that have worked in the Real Estate Trenches.  I think that sets our Real Estate Team apart from some of the Regular Crowd.  I am a big advocate of Education and we are also sending out Team Members to the CDPE class to obtain their certifications.  But, Paris and I know the ins and outs of a successful Short Sale Negotiation.

We know how to motivate the Short Sale entity at the banks and have a track record to prove it.  We have turned a non-approval to "approved" status on more than once occasion.

We also have been instrumental at getting second's and third's on board when it comes to a "less than owed" settlement.

But, continuing education is very important and should not be neglected.  If you have not signed up for the Short Sale Certification Class - you could do a huge amount of learning about Distressed Properties by getting into this two day presentation.

If you have been considering Relocating - to the Santa Clarita Valley or Elsewhere in the United States - go no further and check out our Paris911 Relocation Resource.

Wanting to Search for Santa Clarita Foreclosures? - Then look no where else than to our Foreclosures of Santa Clarita Website.

Finally - you are thinking Real Estate Media and wanting to know how we advertise our Selves and the Properties which we sell in the Santa Clarita Valley and Surrounding communities - Check this Resource Out!!!

I agree.  I've been doing short sales since 2002 when most agents had never heard of it.  I had been in the mortgage business so it was not too big of a leap. Personally I'd much rather be working with someone with a track record of closing short sales, then a freshly crowned CDPE on a transaction, but why not both?
